raw onion ringsSome of my Best recipes happen by accident and this is one of them. This is absolutely the easiest recipe ever and the most delicious “Onion Ring” I ever ate. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:

4 large organic white onions

1/4 cup raw organic coconut oil

3 Tablespoons raw apple cider vinegar

3 fresh garlic cloves

1/3 cup organic hemp seeds

Dash of cayenne pepper

Celtic sea salt to taste

Procedure:

Using a mandoline, slice down onion into small shoestring size pieces, ( as pictured above). Place in a large mixing bowl and set aside.

Place all of above ingredients, except onions into a food processor and pulse until garlic is chopped and well mixed. Pour mixture on top of onions and hand massage to make sure the onions are well covered and seasoned.

Place on teflex dehydrating sheets or on an oiled baking sheet. Put in dehydrator on 110 degrees for 10 hours. If you don’t have a dehydrator you can put them in the hot sun or in an over on low heat until they become crunchy.

Seriously, my friends and I devoured this tasty snack in about 10 minutes flat when I brought them to the movie theatre last night!
