• 1 cup pecans, soaked overnight

• 1 cup walnuts, soaked overnight

• ½ cup cashews or macadamias, soaked overnight

• 1 cup gluten free oats

• 1 tablespoon mixed spiced (pumpkin spice)

• 2 teaspoons ground ginger

• (9ozs) grated carrot

• ½ cup raisins, soaked 1 hour

• Zest of 1 orange

• ½ teaspoon sea salt

1/2 c cup coconut flakes

Method:

1 Grind all ingredients in a food processor until broken down to desired consistency.

2 Mix in a bowl with the date paste.

3 Dehydrate overnight, for around 8 to 12 hours at 115 degrees F.

4 Store in a sealed container for up to 2 weeks.

Date Paste

• 1 cup soft dates, such as medjool

• 1 cup orange juice

1 Blend dates and orange juice together in a high-speed blender until smooth. You can add a little water to get it to blend if you don’t have a strong enough blender.
