With over 20 years as a master perfumist, Ami has traveled from India to Tibet and beyond to find some of the rarest and best quality essential oils to create her own signature line called “Nectar” by ami” sold exclusively online and at her boutique, vegan restaurant G-zen in Branford CT. Ami’s name is pronounced “Uhmi” and meaning in Sanskrit means Divine Nectar, a name she cherishes.
Many of these same compounds were used throughout history for spiritual, medicinal, emotional, physical, romantic and sensual purposes.
She specializes in exotic and rare aromatics and unusual essential oils and absolutes such as Cocoa Bean, Tonka bean vanilla, cacao essence, Clementine, Fir Balsam, South African Rooibos Red Tea and Moroccan Amber, Kashmir Lavender, Black Pepper from Madagascar and countless more.
Ami’s custom fragrances use all natural plant-based essential oils and _absolutes that are organic, non-sprayed and wild-harvested. Plant-based perfume oils are better for your skin and more effective for emotional and physical balance and much less of a contributor to allergies and sensitivities than chemical-based fragrances.
Plant-based oils are more compatible with your body chemistry and are hand-blended to maintain the highest energy of the essences.
The Perfumes are store in Glass jar filled with quartz crystals to help absorb and charge them with incredible energy. They are then hand-poured and mixed to order to keep the integrity of the perfume at it’s highest vibration. Each oil is made to adorn and anoint the body with healing properties while giving off the most hypnotic and intoxicating fragrance that you have ever experienced.
